I come here for hygiene every 6 months and have always received incredible service. I saw Zaynab Iqra Mirza, and was taken back in how she treated me and asking me about my dental routine (which I have never had before) and with the conversation we had I have fully taken on board all her tips. The iTero Element Scanner is a state-of-the-art digital impression system, used before starting any Invisalign clear brace or other orthodontic treatment. It involves using a small optical wand to scan the inside of your mouth and teeth, instead of the traditional method of using trays and messy putty. The impression process is incredibly quick, and patients are free to breathe, swallow, or even pause to sneeze, without impacting the scanning process.

Digital impressions versus putty dental impressions

The accurate scanning process guarantees a perfect fit of your Invisalign aligners, in a fraction of the time it would take using traditional putty impressions.

The iTero procedure creates a far better patient experience due to it being comfortable, convenient, and safe; it allows you to continue with your day, without worrying about the risk of having to re-do another impression due to fitting issues or the mould being rejected.

Once the digital scan has been done, the 3D model of your mouth is used to create Invisalign clear aligners. A major benefit of using iTero for Invisalign treatment is the speed at which dental impressions can be taken.

Within minutes the computer can generate an accurate 3D scan of your smile, which is a great way to help explain what your treatment plan will involve.
